Quick Assist is built into Windows. It lets me view or control your screen for a single session using a secure, time‑limited code.

Open Quick AssistPress the Windows key and type “Quick Assist”. Click the app when it appears.

Choose “Receive Assistance”Click the option that says “Receive assistance”.

Enter the Security CodeI'll give you a 6‑digit code. Type it in and click Submit.

Allow AccessClick “Allow” when prompted so I can view or control your screen.

Stay NearbyKeep your phone handy and watch the screen. You can pause or end the session at any time.
Option 2: Direct Desktop — Ongoing Remote Access
Direct Desktop is ideal for regular support. Once installed, I can connect when you ask — no new code each time. You stay in control and can disable access whenever you like.
Distant Desktop — Remote Access Made Simple
Distant Desktop is a free remote support app for Windows. No installation, no registration — just download, run, and connect. Perfect for ongoing support with secure access and minimal setup.
- Download the app using the button below. It works on Windows 10 and 11.
- Open the downloaded file — no installation required. The app runs immediately.
- Share your ID and password with me. You'll see both on the app's main screen.
- I'll connect securely. You'll see everything I do, and you can end the session anytime.
Want unattended access? Distant Desktop can run as a service with a static ID and password. I'll help you set that up if needed.
